BAS MEMBER EVENTS IN 2024
BAS Meeting August 8th – Our annual look at the museum restoration hangar with up close access to the aircraft.
BAS Meeting September 12th – Chris Pratt, a volunteer with the British Resistance Organisation, will give a talk on the secret
army that was created in case Britain was invaded by Germany in 1940. Chris is also a volunteer at Parham Airfield
museum where a comprehensive exhibition is display on the BRO.
BAS Meeting October 10th – AGM and we hope some entertainments after the formal section.
BAS Meeting November 14th – Richard Gates is a local past BAS member whose grandfather was involved in the very earliest
evolution of British aviation and Richard has a fascinating story to tell with original photos to share. This is a unique
opportunity to see the birth of British aviation close up.
BAS Meeting December 12th – Our annual social gathering to get in the Christmas spirit.
